It is a beautiful setting and I like the course design a lot for the 9 holes with good variety.
Only trouble was the fairways were in a really bad state so each shot was playing out of a divot. It was the summer but we were playing winter rules moving the ball to an actual lie.

Always wanted to play here and had the good fortune to fulfil this today!
The greens are superb. There's been a lot of work done to this course, apparently, but you'd never know. It all seems so settled and wonderful!
A thinking course, with many a dogleg, blind tee shots and plenty of trees. But that's not why you play here, you play here for the vistas. Wonderful views of the castle from the fifth to the 9th and its well worth the visit.
Can't wait to return.

Good playing course. Taken out a par 3 and added a new par 3 hole and 2 existing holes that have been enhanced and extended. Overall a good 9 hole course in beautiful settings. Greens were very goid and quick when playing today

The new layout is well worth a look, course is in good condition for the time of year.
There are only 2 par 3s now, 4th and the new 8th. The 8th is a very narrow uphill par 3 which is a great addition to the course, the redone 6th wraps round the most, to the old 7th green!
