good tight course, need to hit fairways to score well. Artificial green pain around the greens looked cheap.

Its a shame because this course could be fantastic, has well placed hazards to keep you thinking throughout your round. My main problem with the course was the fairways half of them were so bumpy and uneven it looked like a wave coming across. The price was also to expensive there is better value for money around.

First time round here playing with a member. Far more interesting than the website and card would have you believe. Have also recently made a couple of the longer par 4's into par 5's which seems a sensible move for the average length hitter. Course was in pretty decent condition despite the recent rain. Greens were decent if a little slow but were receptive. Would play again. Nice lunch before the round and decent pint after. Clubhouse itself is nice.

Tough, long course with great atmosphere
This mostly flat, members course has seen a huge amount of work over the last 6 months to address impenetrable rough and poor fairways. Slope index 133, off the Yellows, with only 1 par 5, but many long par 4s. Really great social side with very friendly membership and management. Love the final 3 holes to close out the round, with a picturesque 18th to finish.Reviewer Rating

The course was very good, greens were decent, no par 5 off the yellow tees which is unusual but played very well.

Lovely greens and considering the amount of rain, not a flooded bit of the course. Green very reseptive. Bunkers need attention on certain holes but would definitely come back to visit.

Very enjoyable round and good value at the time we played (5pm). Course in very good condition. Practice facilities available but did not use.
