I had been looking forward to playing Langley Park. I was informed it had hosted the prestigious "Oscar Ash" the previous day. The sun was shining. The putting green was true and fast. What could go wrong ? The fairways at Langley Park were appalling, covered in mud and pretty much unplayable, the run off areas were even worse. I rate Langley Park as Fair value for money only because my run was free.

The first time I posted my review of Langley Park, although the site informed me it would appear within 24hrs, it didn't make the site. I was looking forward to playing Langley Park as I remember it as a great track. I was pleased to hear that the day before we were to play Langley had hosted the prestigious "Oscar Ash" competition. The sun was shining, what could spoil our day ? The greens were fantastic, fast and true. Other than that the course was in an awful state. Even in early September the fairways were muddy, this course needs winter rules. I rate the course fair under value for money only because my round was free.

good tight course, need to hit fairways to score well. Artificial green pain around the greens looked cheap.

Its a shame because this course could be fantastic, has well placed hazards to keep you thinking throughout your round. My main problem with the course was the fairways half of them were so bumpy and uneven it looked like a wave coming across. The price was also to expensive there is better value for money around.
