Course was unplayable yet staff let us go out with buggys. Waterlogged on every green bar 3 of them..Very Very disappointed. No apologies from staff all they seemed to be interested in was taking our money..Not a greenkeeper in sight trying to clear the greens. Will not be playing here again

A bit underwelmed in all honesty. On arrival I expected a grand clubhouse, however this was not the case (not Whitehaven by any stretch of the imagination). Some good holes - 1st, 3rd, 4th and 17th spring to mind but the majority of par 4's are pretty much 370 yards with little variation. There are some great bunkers and water hazards which provided some decent entertainment! Not too keen on the layout of the course as it seems very crowded and criss-crosses all over the place. The 18th doesnt feel like an 18th should, the 10th gives you that feeling... Felt it a bit innapropriate that are signs at certain points stating "You should have taken no more than 1 hour 20 minutes to reach this point" No wonder it felt like speed golf! Unfortunately, not worth £38.00..

Excellent course
Well maintained and in the sunshine a beautiful challenging course. Sadly it suffers in the wet but if you get a dry spell this course has to be visited. Greens fairways and the rough all maintained to a good standardReviewer Rating

Beautiful Course
Stopped off to play this course after staying over in the Lakes - blessed by a sunny day with little wind. Testing course with a number of challenging holes surrounded by fantastic scenery. Bit wet in parts but there has been a lot of rain - will like to play again in the summer. Pace of play was slow in parts - think there was a comp on and the 4 ball in front were being very careful with their putting !Nice club house and bar.

Course was in very good condition considering the amount of rain of recent days. Long course and some very good holes where you have to be accurate off the tee. Will definitely play again when the weather improves.
