Wow what views!

Highest course in England. Really quite challenging. It made you think about every shot! Worth every minute of the two hour journey to get there. Very welcoming pro, welcoming in the clubhouse too. Advice take a variety of clothing with you cos it changes quickly up there ????????????

Wonderful course - particularly on a good visibility day. Extraordinary views as you play all round the top of the hill. Extra hassards in the form of sheep. Try to get a 2 on the 18th (par 4), by driving the green (aim to left edge of pro-shop is the tip)

Played here 16/04/16 - absolute gem of a course very unique; considering the recent weather fairways and greens in excellent condition. Staff / Pro in the shop very friendly and even after the round they addressed me by my name. Cant wait to play the course again!

Just played the Kington Open Medal - in Herefordshire - Sat 9th 2014 in windy conditions off the white blocks. My two sons also played and had really good challenging rounds. Had not played this course for fifteen years and had forgot what a challenge it really is - especially with the wind on the day. A really fine inlands links course. Superb views on a 360 degree panorama. Yes there are sheep on the fairway and droppings to boot but unlike the previous poster don't be put off - it does not detract from a fine, well presented and naturally tough course with gorse bushes and heather you will most probably bemoan about after your round in the 19th. Yes the fairways do have undulating fairways, but this tests the skills of the golfer to play shots from various lies. If you can place your ball around the course, you will find really good, elevated, quick greens protected by grass bunkers and moguls as good as you will get anywhere. I can not recommend this highly enough for golfers who like a challenge. Well worth a visit.

Played here in June on one of the hottest days of the year and the course was in great condition. I was a little out of breath after some of the holes, but I really enjoyed the hilly course as the views were outstanding. Nice finish on the 18th.

Great course with some challenging holes and fantastic views. Fairly hilly as you'd expect but this just adds to the challenge - and the views! Friendly club house, a nice lunch and very helpful staff. 18th hole is one to be enjoyed - hitting from an elevated tee directly at the clubhouse with the green in reach if you're willing to go big...

Fantastic natural course. A links style course in the hills.
plus grazing sheep and fantastic views over the valleys. It's not long but with the Undulating fairways, tight lies and moguls protecting often small greens, mixed bag of weather, occasional bad bounce and awkward stance it's a good challenge even for the bigger hitters.

Plenty of memorable holes and it required some imagination to get the ball close.

Well worth going out of your way to visit and we will be coming back.
Staff and members extremely welcoming and helpful.

Superb course all year round. Greens run true and pretty fast. Have played here on numerous occasions in different weather conditions, when the wind is up it can make it pretty tricky being the highest course in England but great fun and there has never been tempory greens or matts. The 19th hole does great value for money food and a lovely pint

We played this course on 28th feb 2009. The course was in execellent condition the greens were suberb for this time of year. I found some challenging holes and i suspect this would be a tough course with a stong wind as it it is the second highest golf club in england or wales. The pro shop was exellent and there are buggys available also the club house is exellent with superb changing area. A special mention for the food and reception afterwards as a great meal is allways appriatated after a 18 hole grind on the golf course. This is a suberb golf course in a suberb location.
