Great location, beautiful, long and challenging course set in picturesque parkland around the Kedleston Hall estate. Thoroughly enjoyed it apart from a couple of gripes; very inconsistent bunkers and tee markers that I couldn't read without walking over to them.

Great venue
Played my first scratch event here and was very impressed with the venue. Not a bad word to say about the course, staff, venue, members club really has everything going for it.Highly recommend and I will 100% be back sooner rather than later

Several years since I played here. Extra bunkers on several of the holes on the back nine.
Lovely course members are a bit aloof frown on visitors.

Enjoyable early season round off the Championship tees on an Open Qualifying venue.Great fun and in good order. Layout changes are bedding in beautifully.Some superb golf holes. Love the short holes. All are real challenges.

Course very wet. No Buggies allowed and in parts even the trolley got stuck !

Great condition
course in fabulous condition. A real pleasure to test myself... and lose against this course.New bunkers now completely bedded in and add to the overall quality of this Open Qualifying venue for next year. NB local rule prevents shorts in the clubhouse. Don't get embarrassed by missing this as one of our group did.Reviewer Rating

superb setting and true greens
played the first two holes whilst still raining, there had been a lot of overnight rain. however the course played really well, the drainage must be superb.A fair test of mediocre ability, but not too scary. i would imagine it would be difficult to take a very low score due to the positioning of bunkers, traps, ditches and pin positions on testing greens!

Played as part of a charity golf day, lovely course, worth a visit. Some quite long par 4s, and challenging par 5s, lovely greens and superb views.

This is a fantastic golf course.Recent improvements have fully bedded in and the new bunkers can hardly be discerned from the old.The practice facilities are second to none with the short game area a real pleasure to use.It becomes an Open qualifying venue from 2018 and fully deserves the accolades for its current condition. This is not a cheap golf course but I still fully recommend it is likely to become even busier next year. If you fancy a real golfing treat you will not be disappointed by this venue.Clubhouse and food in particular are superb.Please ensure you take account of local rules regarding dress etc to avoid embarrassment. All are sensible and appropriate.This was a real treat!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 99 Handicap: 17.8)

Superb course. I really liked the layout with a nice mixture of holes.
Tee's fairways and greens all in great condition. Can be wide in places so you can really open your shoulders. Some holes just an iron is fine.
I cant comment on the club house as I was wearing shorts and they wouldnt let me in.

It is a lovely course, no doubt. Long, in great condition and very playable. Only thing lets it down is the club house - or more specifically, some of the rules!
