Played as part of a charity golf day, lovely course, worth a visit. Some quite long par 4s, and challenging par 5s, lovely greens and superb views.

This is a fantastic golf course.Recent improvements have fully bedded in and the new bunkers can hardly be discerned from the old.The practice facilities are second to none with the short game area a real pleasure to use.It becomes an Open qualifying venue from 2018 and fully deserves the accolades for its current condition. This is not a cheap golf course but I still fully recommend it is likely to become even busier next year. If you fancy a real golfing treat you will not be disappointed by this venue.Clubhouse and food in particular are superb.Please ensure you take account of local rules regarding dress etc to avoid embarrassment. All are sensible and appropriate.This was a real treat!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 99 Handicap: 17.8)

Superb course. I really liked the layout with a nice mixture of holes.
Tee's fairways and greens all in great condition. Can be wide in places so you can really open your shoulders. Some holes just an iron is fine.
I cant comment on the club house as I was wearing shorts and they wouldnt let me in.

The Course
This is members course with a parkland layout, the greens had just been dressed but were accurate and responsive, the fairways were tight in places and not automatic driver off the tee, some stunning holes. It had rained heavily the night before but you could not tell. I did not play my best golf but still enjoyed the course.
The Clubhouse
One of our party had come in shorts and he was told abruptly and loudly that he could not go in the clubhouse, which set the tone for the day.
If were jusr playing the course I would reccomend, its the clubhouse that lets it down.

Stunning golf course. Every hole has a different layout and feel to it and its in perfect condition. Lush green fairways, well manicured tee boxes.
Being a parkland course could be fairly tight for some but its fairly forgiving. Not the longest ever so big hitter will really enjoy it.
I have marked the clubhouse as 'good' as I wasn't allowed in wearing shorts.

It is a lovely course, no doubt. Long, in great condition and very playable. Only thing lets it down is the club house - or more specifically, some of the rules!

Great location, beautiful, long and challenging course set in picturesque parkland around the Kedleston Hall estate. Thoroughly enjoyed it apart from a couple of gripes; very inconsistent bunkers and tee markers that I couldn't read without walking over to them.
Overall, a super day out.

What a fantastic course. The backdrop of Kedleston Hall from the 16th tee makes it the best golfing view in Derbyshire. Bring your long game, you will need it as the course is quite long but there are some excellent short holes such as the wonderful Par 3 7th across the lake. The resident pro Ian and his team (Phil and Andy) couldn't be more helpful. Phil does sterling work with Junior coaching, if you have a budding Tiger Woods get them down for the group coaching sessions.

Great golf course and by far the best in the area. Backdrop of Kedleston Hall is superb and when I played the course was immaculate. Professional shop was extremely well stocked and the service that we received was fantastic from booking over the phone to being welcomed to the club. Would highly recommend.
