What The Club Says
This magnificent heathland course is consistently ranked among the top 100 courses in the British Isles by Golf World. It dates back to 1892 and the original 18 holes were extended to 27 under Enid Blyton's ownership. It has great coastal views across The Solent to the Isle of Wight and if you fancy arriving at the course in style, there is a ferry that can take you to the course across the water.

Beautiful, testing course
10/10 views, great clubhouse, very exposed so be ready for wind. But a pleasure to play, will definitely return.Reviewer Rating

Spectacular
On a hot summer day the course was great and the views spectacular. There is a premium on finding fairways here as the gorse, heather and rough are penal. The usual sea breezes have to be factored in. The fairways were running and the greens were fast and true. We really enjoyed it.Reviewer Rating

Played here with two other golfers on the 31st August. The weather for the front nine was atrocious but thankfully the back 9 was much better and we even saw some sun! The staff in the pro shop were so welcoming and helpful. The course is very good but the views are amazing - absolutely love this course and will be back to play again.Reviewer Rating

I think this is God’s own golf course. The views are stunning and it’s a good test of golf especially in the wind. The flora and fauna are out of the top drawer. Recent improvements have transformed the course from how it was a couple of years back.Reviewer Rating
