The course itself is fantastic I literally can't fault it. The greens are lightning quick and so true. They reward good putts but also punish anything slightly off line or over hit.
However the great course was blighted somewhat by rude and inconsiderate members who didnt seem to understand the concept of etiquette.
Our 4 ball tee'd off at 7am. Come the 10th hole it was 9.10 so clearly no slow play in evidence, we were playing matchplay so were holing out on each green. One fourball behind us quickly caught us up as they were playing quickly and picking up on the greens. They asked to play through us on a par 4, despite three of their group still putting on the green behind us. "We are members and you are slowing us down" was their comment. Incorrectly the member (new to course) that I was playing with decided to let them play through causing us a 10 minute delay. On the very next hole the fourball behind them also asked us to let them through. One of them threatened to report us to the secretary if we didn't, shocking. At this point I was +4 through 10 holes so not exactly hacking it around.
We ended up taking 4 hours 20 minutes to complete 18 holes, including 20 minutes stood waiting for two groups to pass through. Slow play?? I think not.
So in summary, excellent course, but stuffy members who display no respect or manners towards visitors and disrupt their play. It's almost like an 'Its my ball you can't play' attitude just because it's their club. Very poor indeed.
Needless to say, I reported THEM to the pro and secretary after the round.
I was considering joining but not now, not in a million years.

Great course
Great test of golf if your slightly off your punching out and your score racks up , even though 5 par 3’s there isn’t an easy one everyone requires a good shot .(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 98 Handicap: 18.1)

Tight and tricky
Any slightly off line shots around this tight track get pushed and your punching out your second shot .True and quick greens hard to read .
Every par 3 could be a card wrecker .
