This free draining course is very good for winter golf and I've played here quite alot over winter and found the course to be in good condition every time. The only downside is every time I have played the play has been very slow. Having a starter Marshall on the first tee would really help to solve this problem. The most recent round took over 4 hours for a course that is only 4500 yards from the whites.Reviewer Rating

Great, forgiving course but challenging enough! Wide fairways, short holes balanced with water hazards to keep your game sharp.Reviewer Rating

great winter course
plays well in winter. greens were in good condition. Pace of play was poor with to many playing slowly and not looking behind. No marshals to keep things movingReviewer Rating

Overall the course is in very good condition bearing in mind how much rain we had, some of the bunkers were GUR, more annoying was that other players had not repaired their pitch marks on the greens. The course is quite open and blustery on windy days.Reviewer Rating

Exceptional
Played this course on 15th Nov, all other courses were either closed or had restrictions. The course was in amazing condition, it was like playing in summer. Firm fairways and greens, I take my hat off to the ground keepers.Reviewer Rating

Good course worth playing
Shorter than most and inevitably busy on Bank Holiday though most groups were 2 and 3 balls. Unfortunately got stuck behind a young 3ball who sprayed it around but wouldn't let us through.Otherwise good fun and greens a challenge as fast and quite a few slopes. Great real ale at the bar.
