Great value
Not a long course but pretty well kept and greens true. Some interesting holes and good value compared to some other courses locally.Reviewer Rating

Lovely afternoon out
Nice course in good condition ; recent rain has meant the fairways are more green than brown, although it was still quite dry. This is a course open to the public, so quite heavily played, but overall it is in very good condition. Generally the tees are tidy and the greens are good ; not super fast but OK. Not a long course, and had to queue on the last four holes but overall a great day out and good value for money.Reviewer Rating

Straw like fairways
Even though the fairways were like straw, the course played very well. The greens and the approaches were in excellent condition. We have played different courses in the last 3/4 weeks and Hurtmore was probably one of the better courses we have come across.Reviewer Rating

Lovely well maintained course
A little shorter than some courses, but still a good challenge for the mid to high handicappers.Reviewer Rating

A bit of a doddle
Playing in my first round of DGA England at Hurtmore it was a bit of a doddle and an easy opener… even as a disabled golfer we were hitting the backs of the short Par 4 greens off the tees and in very changeable conditions with snow sleet and hale. I can’t really comment on the greens as it was so early in the year but they seemed to be doing a lot of work to get it ready for the summer months but the course played well, it’s a shame the catering (food) didn’t match the great hospitality but a good all round course to play and club to to visit, also very good value! The studio is fab and the facilities were a good standard. I’d say it’s a great course to play if you’re getting in to the game and will ready you for more difficult courses.Reviewer Rating

Enjoyable
Hurtmore will not test low handicap golfers unduly but some interesting distances and shape of holes to negotiate. Enjoyable, no distance between holes on a well drained courseReviewer Rating
