Overall the course was in good condition but the greens were poor. Having been spiked and left with holes everywhere you couldn't get a true roll on even putts from inside three feet.

Greens clearly affected by previous poor weather conditions. Changes to course ongoing. Look forward to better weather helping the greens to recover.

visited during may 2012 on a works day.the course was in a nice green condition - winter rules were in operation but no need as the ball sat up nicely on the fairways 9/10. the bunkers 3/10 were very stony which was an inconveniance and although the greens were ok they were not brilliant 7/10.the course itself is perfect for a mid/high handicapper with wide fairways but if venturing into the rough whilst not overly deep getting back onto the short grass is often the best option.
i thought the course lacked character with only the 4th and 17th looking interesting in my opinion.
the clubhouse and facilities were very good without being spectacular and the staff were very friendly and accomodating to our needs.
£48 for a weekend round ..if this is accurate seems excessive and would not attract me ...but i live 90 mins away so would not go even if was a more realistic £20-£25 ...which i usually pay to visit courses in the norwich area.all said and done we enjoyed our visit ...especially myself as i won the days comp.

COURSE IN GOOD CONDITION. ENJOYED HOLES 1-9 15,18 THE ONES IN MIDDLE SEEMED TO LAKE THE SAME FEEL AS THE REST. STILL OVERALL VERY ENJOYABLE COURSE TO PLAY.

Nice course in good condition. Greens had just been tined and sanded which took the shine off a bit but they have to be done at some point. Well looked after by the club and very friendly welcome. Good food post round.

Lovely track
Lovely course near Ipswich, very well set up and looked after. Open but provides a good challenge(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 95 Handicap: 20.6)

Great layout in good condition
I played this course with my son, late in the day. We had no one behind and didn't catch anyone up until the final hole, so a very relaxed round. The course was in great condition, with just a few pock-marked greens, with most being exceptional. The tees were hardly marked and all the fairways in great condition.The layout is interesting with a great mix of par 3/4/5's. Some water features towards the end keep you concentrating to the final hole.
Well worth a visit!

Nice open course
Invitational social competition with the rugby crowd. Interesting course design. Not much water or OB. Lots of sand.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 105 Handicap: 27.3)

Played here on a society day for the first time. Good track. Pretty open so able to get round quickly. Decent variety amongst the holes which made it interesting. Greens were a bit firm but that's most likely due to lack of recent rain. Nice bacon roll to start, food after as so-so. Good clubhouse and bar though. Would play again.
