Flat but difficult due to wind
It was in great nick with rees running true and quite fast. Shame about damage done to 1st hole but looks like tha should be back to full length in a week or two. Open course with soem trees but doesn't stop a strong breeze playing havocReviewer Rating

Links course inland.
Lovely course which plays like an inland links course. Real nature covers the 18 holes with Deers roaming and Crows trying to steal your ball and in fact I had won picked up by a crow while the ball was on the green. Great condition in the winter.Reviewer Rating

Little gem
Very nice course and facilities. Had not been thee for a while but you can see that money has been spent and the course is a little gem. Firm hard greens and punishing rough.Nice bar and food with friendly staff and club members.

Things really looking up
Played here yesterday for first time since the summer and new owners have already made impressive changes with investment pretty evident. The already good greens are being improved further with drainage, fairways are getting lots of attention and overseed, and there are plans to improve the bunkers, range and clubhouse too apparently. Fairways in particular are already showing real improvement, though I was a bit surprised that a couple of small areas weren't marked as GUR to allow their recovery. Friendly welcome as always, and really good informative website now too which I think is so important these days. I look forward to returning in the spring and seeing even more improvements. Only negative was a 2 ball jumping in from nowhere on the 10th tee, not sure what the club can do though I've never seen a marshal here. Also, some warning signs for walkers would be worthwhile, especially across 5th and 6th holes.Reviewer Rating

Refresh day
Fresh breeze course was in very good condition despite all the rain over the last few daysGreens were not running true due to the the sand and the hollowing carried out this week

Great course
The greens were in absolutely beautiful condition, however the fairways were dry, hard and not great at all.Navigating around the course is slightly difficult as there are no markers on the tee boxes and the layout has changed since my last visit.
I still enjoyed the course though and will definitely visit again
