Avoid
The course is not in good condition. It’s been badly neglected during the lockdown and some of the greens have huge holes that have been dug by animals. The green keepers have just thrown sand in these and left them. This was once a real members club that welcomed visitors. The existing members are now leaving in numbers and it’s becoming an overpriced pay and play that is trying to cram every tee time full to make as much money as possible. The new owners claim they are investing in the course and they have started putting in irrigation for example. But leaving the course to fall apart during lockdown doesn’t seem to support this new ethos.
Maybe they will get the course back in shape. But that looks a long way away and right now, I would not pay to play this course.

Great Location... Poor course
The course is nicely positioned near Hampton Court, however, that's where the positives end. Fairways were bare and in poor condition, probably the worst I've played this year. Considering the amount of rain and sunshine we have had this year, better care could have been taken of the fairways. The greens had been spiked and therefore were not playing true and had areas of bare patches on them.Reviewer Rating

Had to walk off after 13 holes. That was at the 5 hour mark.
The course is not in good condition. It should have been left as a deer park.

Don't bother playing here unless you have 5 hours (2 ball Friday afternoo). Obviously over subscribed membership,.overpriced food and drinks. Beautiful setting.Reviewer Rating

Is there supposed to be grass on fairways?
Maybe I’m new to uK golf, but this course had fences on the fairway, dirt for fairways. I didn’t see a green fairway until I reached 18.Staff was great however.

Slow and tough with too much rough
There appears to be a want to get as many people out on the course in 4 balls searching for wayward drives in the substantial amounts of deep rough. A number of groups gave up after almost 3hr 9 holes, meaning my back nine quickened somewhat, still, I've played a few times recently and must be an almost 5 hour average for a round on the weekend. Nice club/course with putting green and chipping area, but to have no range balls available and no practice net to hit a few balls into isn't great.Reviewer Rating
