What the club says: The key to play this tight and often difficult course is to always ensure careful positioning off of the tee. With a number of hazards including clever bunkering and streams, accuracy will definitely be key to low scoring round.

This course is in excellent condition, the gree staff are obviously very conscientious, greens are small but lively! Long hitters will probably only take driver on 2 or 3 holes as placement of the ball here is the name of the game. We'll worth a visit if you are in the KT 3 area.Reviewer Rating

great little course
Don't let the low yardage put you off - this is a challenging course and the short par 4s of ~290yrds are made up for by some tricky long ones (~420yrds). The course is really nicely laid out, v picturesque and everyone is friendly.Reviewer Rating

Interesting Layout
Played a twilight round on a hot sunny day. The course is tight and short (7 par 3's, 1 par 5) with some cross over fairways, but this didn't cause a problem as there were few people out.As most places at the moment, the fairways were very dry but the greens were in a good condition (apart from the first which had a bare 'tramline' patch across it). Each hole offers a different challenge and course management is important as there are doglegs and well placed bunkers.
Clubhouse, pro shop and locker rooms are excellent with a balcony overlooking the course and a good range on the menu. Friendly staff make this course well worth a visit and excellent value for money on a twilight tee time.
I will be returning soon.

Great days golf
The course was in great condition and had great company with plenty of laughs my only problem was the speed of the greens, they were like lightning and I just couldn’t adjust my game unfortunately.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 87 Handicap: 14.2)

Nice course - good condition
Nice course - pretty good condition when we played.there are a couple of points in the layout where holes cross over each other, and it's not a very long course but we really enjoyed it.

Nice little course hidden in SW London
The course has a number of interesting holes which have their own challenges. However overall it was an ideal course for a game of golf later in the day. Greens were in good condition and a very welcoming clubhouse awaited at the endReviewer Rating

Very enjoyable
A year since I last played Coombs Wood and was pleasingly surprised at how good a condition the course was in considering the weather we have had lately in south east England. Greens hard yet receptive, fairways running - only criticism was the average state of the game tee boxes. Bargain deal twilight rate, friendly in pro shop and refurbished bar means a quick return is on the cards!Reviewer Rating

Lovely Short Course
This a course that could easily be described as a hidden gem, especially as once you're out on the course you can easily forget how close you are to London. The course isn't the biggest you'll ever play, 5100 yards from the yellows, but you'll probably get to use a far wider choice of clubs from the tee than at most courses. There are a few holes which are probably a little too close to each other, for example the 10th green which is sandwiched between the 1st and 7th tees, but overall the course is a very pleasant walk with some lovely holes. Most of the par 4's, and the one par 5, have fairly generous fairways, so this is a course that can be enjoyed by all handicaps. The lower handicappers would probably murder the course though.
The round started with a very pleasant welcome in the pro shop, and he was kind enough to give me a map of the course. I'd have probably found my way around without the map, but there are a couple of holes where the next tee isn't especially obvious.
As for the condition, I was surprised at just how good the fairways and greens were given that I played it in mid-October.
