Played this as opposed to the #1 course in case it was too tough. Used a greenfree voucher also which was no problem for them and helped though prices not extortionate by any means. The wind was out and never having played it before this is a good challenge for any golfer, with immaculate greens and fairways, and good variation of holes. Quite undulating in parts (particularly the 3rd!!) and at 6000 yds it's reasonably long too. Very warm welcome, well organised and a nice clubhouse. Loads of course maintenance staff about, but all very patient and considerate of play, and the course reflected their care. Only 150 markers around the course and no hole maps on the tee boxes or cards which was the only small gripe on anotherwise excellent days' golf! Oh and the grub in the clubhouse (guests clubhouse) was just so-so. Thanks.

played number 2 today there was a scottish boys comp on so everything was in top shape on the course club house was far to busy though we couldent even get in

3 is great fun as is most of number two although could do with a couple less par 4's.excellent value inlike overpriced number one course. watch out for the grumpy tee master on the number two course. clubhouse staff superb

no2 course an outstanding links course - with some brilliant holes - never easy, i've yet to play in a gale but i'm told it can get wild. the course is in great condition and the view from the 3rd green all the way to the 17th tee makes it worthwhile alone - i used two for one vouchers which helped the budget - enjoy.

Great day of Golf
Me and 5 friends came up from London/Kent to play golf in east lothian for the weekLast week we played Gullane 2&3,
Both in fantastic condition especially 2.
The deal to play both on the same day is a no brainer and amazing value.
We only played course 3 last year as it was the open week and had little to no tee times.
Last year it was busy and didn't feel too friendly.
This year it was quieter and we all had a wonderful experience, the two guys Chris and Craig I think their names in the pro shop were soo friendly and welcoming.
They were lovely.
If you want to play here do not hesitate it's a great place and course 2 has some tuff holes.
3 is short but the greens are no joke.
Thanks for a great day out.

lucky to get it on a calm day
Played with a very welcoming member, lunch in the old clubhouse, then away we went, pleasure from beginning to end, strategically bunkered, greens and tees were excellent, had played Number 2 before and was similarly excellent.Reviewer Rating
