For a "municipal" or public course the greens were in excellent condition and the course plays well and good value for money especially when compared to more expensive courses in the areas whose greens are often much worse

First time I've ever done 18 holes of golf. Great little course to get started on. Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Greens weren't in the best condition (I'm told by the other players) never the less very enjoyable place to play! (score: 111 handicap: 36)

Considering the wet weather we have had recently, the course has been made playable due to the hard work of the ground staff. We had to play of mats whilst isn't perfect but very understandable. The fairways were in remarkably good condition and the greens whilst a little bumpy in places have held up well. The new drainage system is virtually complete and adds a few more hazards to the course with interfering with it too much. All in all it was a good days golf on a course that has been well maintained during atrocious weather conditions.
