OK, so it's late November and teeing off of mats might be acceptable. What isn't acceptable however is the winter price of £22 for 18 holes when the fairways and greens do not appear to have received any care for months. The noise of the nearby busy roads is a constant and the view beyond the course is OK if you like 1960's industrial estates. In fairness, if the course was looked after then there are some enjoyable holes. But there are lots of other courses in the area that are much better value for money at this time of year. And to wrap up, there was no rake in the 18th Bunker which was the only one i went in all day!Reviewer Rating

I played here today Sun 4th Nov 2018
and we teed off at 6.55am, when the gentleman came for our money we were charged £22 which is very steep considering we had to tee off on mats that must be 20 yrs old at least and the course is not in good condition at all , I think that Portsmouth city council should start spending some money on this course to bring it up to a good standard.

Great little course with some challenging holes. Not the best around or maintained but ok for practice rounds. Good round of 76 today missed a lot of birdie opportunities. Weather was just right.

A relatively easy course being shorter than many in the area. However it still offers enough of a challenge to be enjoyable. Green fees are reasonable.

A typical municipal course, in a good location. Greens spoiled because players do not repair their pitch marks. Currently all tees are off mats. The preserved green tees are being saved for the fairer weather which is probably about now.
