What the club says: We offer excellent 18 hole golfing facilities set within a landscaped farmland seting of mixed mature woodland which offers outstanding views towards Barr Beacon.

Lovely Flat Course
A lovely flat tree lined course in good condition (used my electric trolley without it`s battery). Large, quick greens that can be difficult to read. Astute bunkering in the process of being refurbed. Fine clubhouse with a good choice of ales and good quality foodReviewer Rating

Exceptional greens
The course is well kept, fairways and tee boxes are very good, the greens are carpet at the moment tbf. There’s a few nice holes, being long and straight always helps! Played with a member £20, great value for moneyReviewer Rating

The course is pretty affordable (£15 for winter), and the layout is great- especially for the time of year (November). The greens are really good too. It's become more relaxed than it was before, which is nice. Overall, I'd say it's a great course and definitely worth checking out.

This is a fantastic course in a gorgeous parkland setting. The greens were mint and a fantastic speed to boot! Matched by the high quality fairways. Didn't see much rough as I played well but didn't look too long!! This course is a great little hidden gem and well worth the green fees

Very good course, green were in brilliant condition even after a lot off rain the previous days, clubhouse staff very freindly, overall good value for money

I went to Great Barr yesterday with a golf society and we had a fabulous day. The course was in excellent condition, the greens fast and true, maybe a little hard to keep on but still very fair. The fairways were well manicured and the rough not too long. Although there are plenty of trees around it is relatively easy to find your ball amongst them if you hit a wayward drive.
The clubhouse is nice and the changing facilities excellent. The bar was good and well priced and the food very tasty.
Everyone we met seemed very friendly, golfers and staff alike.
Would I go back again? YES very definitely.

Played 27/6/16 course well manicured but fairways long and lush and green , although quick , half had been tined and were a different pace to those that had not . Worth a game.

Very welcoming club. Despite how wet it has been there was only one temporary green where workmen were repairing bunkers. Fairways good but wet. Very playable

Nice parkland course with lovely tree lined holes. Greens in great condition and fast even after a lot of recent rain. Great value in the winter at 2 for £30 on a Friday and even cheaper on Mondays and Thursdays.
