Not to be recommended
Heathland course, in pretty good condition considering the recent weather. Greens were very good, and the fairways wet in places but still very playable. The problem was that when we finished our round, and wanted to go into the clubhouse for refreshment, we were not allowed to, being told that a couple of members of our party were not dressed appropriately. One was wearing shorts, and the other wearing smart trousers, although not a Golf ?brand?. This was not mentioned in any way when we were paying our green fees in the shop. The club was perfectly happy to take our ?275.00 for the 5 of us to use the course, but then presented us with a very rude and ignorant attitude afterwards. This club needs to get itself in to the 21st century, and change their arrogant, elitist approach to non-members. I will never recommend this club to anybody.

Fast Greens
i have played here in two open events recently and it is a superb course in fantastic condition with probably the fastest fairways of any inland course I have played. Greens are excellent but very fast and difficult. if you get the wrong side of the hole you will have problems. This course will let you know how good a golfer you are. Highly recommended

Well Designed heathland Challenge
Some good driving opportunities with wide open vistas and shorter holes cut into ancient woodland, there's a lot of variety here. Three consecutive par 5's is unusual, but they all run in different directions so you'll have one with a following wind! Chance to score well if you keep straight, but a good short game is needed as the fast greens are the defence on this course.... I thoroughly enjoyed it!(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 82 Handicap: 9)

£40 for the winter series
I'm a fan of Sutton, but I'm not sure it's worth £40 through the winter months. the layout is tough if you're offline your in trouble, greens are excellent as are the fairways. white tee's are shabby tho and not in great condition.excellent welcome by this years captain handing out the bacon sarnies on arrival, fantastic touch. trackman on the first tee :-) and trick shot by http://www.theaspirationgroup.co.uk on the 9th
A good day, but it's winter so I feel £30 is about right, but it's Sutton Coldfield not Brampton
Practice area is near 12th tee about 1/2 a mile away, but they have 2 nets at the club for quick warm up.

Very fast greens and lots of run on fairways, difficult lies off fairways uneven ground only criticism. Greens been vandalized in many places.but not detrimental to a round of golf, a great shame.

What a treat it was, course was in great condition for time of year (forget time of year actually, course was just in great nick full stop). The pro was very friendly and all members made us very welcome. We will most certainly be back!

Greens running very true and fast. Couldn't have been welcomed more by the club and food was excellent .
Definitely going back to play again
