Really nice course, well maintained and the greens were excellent. If you can drive the ball well you can make a good score at this course. I found that on many holes it was an 8 or 9 iron to the green if you could miss the bunkers. I personally found the par 5's difficult and took 21 shots to play the three of them. Everything was well maintained and presented and the practise facilities were excellent.

Great afternoon at Aston
Had a great day at the Aston Wood, despite all the wet weather recently the course was in really good condition and the greens were a real joy at this time of the year. Staff were extremely helpful with fantastic facilities.

Great course with lots of hazards to overcome, a very good looking course too. The clubhouse was nice and the food was incredible including the bar and waiting staff. The range looked decent, as did the short game area but that was for members only. There is a putting green for all near the clubhouse though. Only downside was we were on temporary greens when the weather had improved and the greens were actually playable and should have been in play. The temporary greens were boggy and some hadn’t been cut so it made putting a nightmare. Will definitely play again when it’s warmer as it would be an awesome course with full greens.

Worth a Visit
A Nice, well maintained course that is about 30 years old. Originally designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark. Relatively flat but plenty of bunkers , rough and ponds and lakes to catch any wayward shots. You have to think your way round the greens were extremely fast and tricky to read on a number. Well worth a visit.
