Nicely presented with some bite
Really well presented course, clubhouse and driving range. Not the longest, but with fast greens and unforgiving rough, if your game isn't on-point you will be punished. Overall a stern test of golf, and thoroughly enjoyable.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 92 Handicap: 20.3)

Great course but slow going
Loved the course. Quite short but the layout means you're required to use all the clubs in your bag - lots of irons/fairway woods off the tees meaning mid to long irons into greens. A nice change from Driver / wedge. It's in great condition too. Minor draw back is being sent out after lots of four balls playing a senior competition, so it took an hour longer than it would otherwise do.Reviewer Rating

Been members here since April 2021. Very friendly club. Course is well laid out with plenty of water. Greens are some of the best I've ever played.

Really nice course, well maintained and the greens were excellent. If you can drive the ball well you can make a good score at this course. I found that on many holes it was an 8 or 9 iron to the green if you could miss the bunkers. I personally found the par 5's difficult and took 21 shots to play the three of them. Everything was well maintained and presented and the practise facilities were excellent.

Aston Wood was in great condition when I played it in September. The course was a great challenge with the back 9 proving harder than the front. The practice facilities and driving range is by the far the best I have ever seen !!!!! Well worth a visit

A very good challenging parks course. Year on year the course is improving and with the new tree planting this will be a course to challenge all levels of golfer. The wind plays a big part in playing the course. Fantastic

this course is building up nicely considering its fairley new. the drainage has improved drasticly making the course lusher and in better condition. the facilities are great with the bar and pracptice range + greens

Forgotten how good Aston Wood is. It had been 6 years since our last visit and so glad we have returned.
Good variety of holes with plenty of water to negotiate. Easy to book, staff were friendly and course was in good condition for November. All four of us have vowed to return soon. A good experience all round
