At Goodwood you get an aristocratic experience. The Park Course is very well kept and as you pass in front of Goodwood House, you feel as though you are playing on The Earl of March's front lawn. The course is very well kept and has something for golfers of all abilities. The '19th hole' being part of the hotel offers some excellent refreshment.

I recently became a member at Goodwood and I was invited to come along and play at either the Downs or Park Course. Being my first time I wanted to see both course but due to availability we ended up playing the park course. I was not certain if I would be disappointed with the public course and wondered if we missed an opportunity to play the downs course. However I was not disappointed at all. It was an amazing course with spectacular views. The course had some wonderful holes and was a nice combination being challenging but very playable, and at times very forgiving. The fairways were in very good condition and the greens are fast and a pleasure to play. The club house was an excellent way to discuss the round we just played and it made for a wonderful day out. I will certainly be coming back for another round soon. I just wonder if the park course is this good, what is the downs course like to play...?

A great experience from breakfast in the Kennels where the food and service is excellent and should start every round here.
The downs course was in the best condition I have played it in. The course has tees to suit both the long and short hitters being over 7000 yards from the back tees. The rough was punitive and you needed to take your medicine and the greens were in good condition with some breaks and borrow that you had to have a keen eye to spot.
Great views from the high points, especially on a clear day.
Finally a special mention for the halfway house that actually comes into play twice if you do wish, some homemade treats!

unexpected experience course was a challenge but with the excellent green keepers maintenance it provided a wonderful day with magnificent views of the southdowns. would like the opportunity to return again. The buggies were certainly unique and very necessary for the older player. Overall the course provided food for thought on nearly all the holes . Thank you to the staff in both the professional shop and the kennels for their helpfulness which also helped to make the day that it was

Played the Downs course. Tricky but rewarding, in excellent condition. Deviate from the fairway though and balls disappear in the rough!
