Great Course , great value
Now a members Club and definitely on the up! Great course , very challenging but every hole very different. Would be great venue for Societies from the Midlands or SW.Reviewer Rating

Awesome course
Great little course with a challenge for everyone.There was ample bins and ball cleaners in this course and the course is well signposted with a little map of each hole next to the tee. The 150 yardage markers were consistent and easy to see anywhere on the fairway (unlike the silly discs which you have to be stood on to see them ).
This course is in excellent condition but it should be because they close the greens at any opportunity of rainfall, I've been trying to play here since February. Today has been the only time I've seen on their web site which all 18 holes have been open with no temporary greens and it has taken the May bank holiday record breaking weather to do it... That said they keep their web site up to date with green closures up to date so there shouldn't be any surprises when you get to the course. At £16 a round this is excellent value on a bank holiday, it is a much more exciting course than others in the area. Probably now in my personal top 3 course between Gloucester and Bristol but I'm not claiming I've played them all. This course does favour the longer hitter with many of its par 4s being over 380 yards. The back 9 is very different from the first 9 with more hills and strategy will play more of a role. The views are spectacular on the back 9 and rival Stinchcombe Hill and Painswick. Awesome golf course.

Beautiful Course
Some stunning scenery and tough holes offering a challenge for all levels of golfer. A couple of great holes with a 50 yard drop make for some huge drives! Course was in excellent condition. Driving range was closed for re-seeding.Reviewer Rating

I've wanted to play here since 1989 as I've seen it regularly off the M5!
I have to say it didn't disappoint, especially for £15!!
The first nine breaks you in gently, but still with some nice interesting holes. It's then the course really starts. The back 9 is fabulous, very hilly, but fabulous. The views are outstanding, the hole layout fantastic, the view from the 18th tee, breathtaking.
One gripe, the greens were like putting on the moon, lots of craters & even more disappointing, lots of pitch marks. I repaired on ave 3 per green as I went round.
I may be doing it a disservice as it was still quite 'wintery' in places, but trust me, i'll be back.

Haven't played here for a year because during the wet conditions over winter the course was poor, but conditions very good this time. Greens were like carpets - excellent, fairways very good but first cut of rough just a little too long as we could often not see our balls until right over them. Bunkers need some more sand. Clubhouse friendly and good breakfast.

Lovely course and surrounding views. Unfortunately when the wife and I decided to play there were a great deal of temp greens in play which somewhat dampened our spirits and we decided to call it a day on the 10th.
We will however give it another go as the season progresses and the greens are fully in use.

Best front 9 I have played at, very well kept. Sadly back 9 is a bit hilly for my liking but has the views to match
