Much improved course. New tee set ups with course layout. Challenging but well maintained greens. Long par 5 hole 15 is a slog!

200 mile round trip just to play here

Found this course by chance on a visit to Spalding. It's my favourite course to play on. Not very long but some challenging holes. Lovely, friendly people and playing in the afternoon feels like I've got the place to myself. I make a 200 mile round trip just to play there but I think it is worth it. Great VFM and the longest par 5 in the UK.

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

My nephew and I travelled to Spalding and decided to play a round of golf. We found Gedney Hill and fell in love with the place straight away. The course is not long even though it has the longest par 5 in the UK!! Accuracy is very important as there are hazards everywhere. The staff, owner and members that we have met are very friendly and we felt at home straight away. We have returned a few times now making regular 200 mile trips and plan to make many more. If we lived closer we would become members in a heartbeat. The course is so different to any that we have played before and suits are 20 handicaps. Really good VFM and well worth a visit. The only slight criticism is that some of the fairways and bunkers need a bit of maintenance but it hasn't spoiled our enjoyment. We can't wait to play there again.

Gedney Hill

It’s a value for money course - you can’t ask for much more than that. Greens ok, layout a little cramped and signage could be improved upon. Fairways fine. You need to be accurate rather than a long hitter. I’d recommend to those that live close. Probably not worth travelling to from a distance. Overall I enjoyed.

Great little coursr

Found this little gem while picking up a golf trolley I had brought. It's just over 5000 yards but you can still get into trouble. Par is 70, friendly members and professional. Worth a look if your out Lincolnshire way.
