Very cheap and it needs to be because apart from it being friendly the positives end there! Very scruffy poor cramped layout ( apart from the monster par 5) very little signage to direct you to the correct tee. Layout had changed from my last visit and here's hoping that it changes again before my next visit

Short holes to many short doglegs most holes not over 240 only need driver on 4 holes no driving range greens to small and bobbly can't see where you are going members welcoming.

What an odd little course, quite tight which i struggled with however if adventurous a low round can be had. Really opens out from the 14th onwards including the longest par 5 in GB, GOOD FUN.

Conditions meant play was hampered by sodden ground underfoot. Course was a bit too tight. Too much crossing over one another on various holes.

Tight little course, alittle confusing around to find your way around some of the holes. Friendly members, shame about the slow play and rude staff!

Not a long course, small and very undulating greens . Getting the ball in the right place off the tee very important. Being in the fens it's very flat, lots of ditches and water hazards.

Challenging back 9
First 13 holes are fairly easy, nothing too challenging. Lots of drivable par 4?s and some short par 3?s.Hole 14-18 is where things get tough. Hole 15 is a 700 yard par 5 and it can be very unforgiving if you're playing into wind. Shot a personal best yesterday though and I came out with a bogey. Never been happier. Overall I?d say the course is a 3/5 for difficulty. 2/5 for the greens. Some are very bobbly, some have holes in. Some roll smoothly.

Tight and challenging

Much improved course. New tee set ups with course layout. Challenging but well maintained greens. Long par 5 hole 15 is a slog!
