Played the Karsten Lakes course...this is a very nice course American themed, only thing that lets the course down is its bunkers (need a bit of tlc) can be challenging due to rough being knee high & is almost impossible to get out! Expect to loose a few balls if not on your A game...i hit 29 points on stableford playing off 16 handicap

Very nice course hard work in the heat 29 degrees very hilly course but well maintained and played at nice pace although very busy

Not bad condition for the time of the year, greens recovering from the winter nicely. Only small complaint is that some bunkers have sand and others haven't - makes getting on the green trickyReviewer Rating

First time I've played the Thonock and really enjoyable. Not long, especially compared to the Lakes but a decent test of positional play and course management. Good value when played with a member (£15)(Round played: Aug 2014 - Score: 84 Handicap: 12.6)

Got a £15 deal through Teeofftimes - excellent value. Course generally in good nick although fairways a bit soggy in places. Nice cafe
