9 hole course
At present everywhere is extremely dry particularly the greens. The ball was bouncing high yesterday. For the price it was a good practice.Reviewer Rating

Conditions of the fairways have held up really well over this winter. However I do think more temporary greens are needed next winter due to how busy the course is whilst it stays open in these conditions. (Good thing)
My only criticisms are that with no range I wish there was a net to warm up with. I do also think a green fee membership should be offered/looked at by management. This not only would this mean that Millfield is accessible to play but additionally encourages people to get involved in club competitions and handicaps etc.

Great value
Superb place, it is cheap and cheerful but thoroughly enjoyable.I really can’t recommend it highly enough.
I would say thank you to the owners and ground staff.
You won’t find better for the cost.

Balance
As the owners of Millfield Golf, it's upsetting to see some folk venting their indignant opinions upon us, when we don't pretend to be anything other than we are. The clue is in the price.......We are family run, work bloody hard, operating on a skeleton crew working 7 days a week, positioned in the market to allow everyday folk to access affordable and snob free Golf. VERY unusual these days, probably the only course of it's sort in the country.
Bear this is mind when making throwaway comments that affect us financially and emotionally.

Cheap and cheerful
Cheap course ok for a practice round. Greens are very poor with lots of bulging weeds which make putting more difficult than it should be. Cannot moan too much as it's a very cheap round. Practice green is not worth the space it consumes. Shame the range is closed so nowhere to practice irons etc.Reviewer Rating
