Good short first 9 opening out a bit in the back 9 - a nice few holes around the lakes near the end.

Played after 5pm for £10, as many holes as you could do. We got 18 in easily, had a decent round. Not the longest course, but certainly not the easiest.

Played there 3 or 4 times over the last 6 weeks. Nice little course, great for beginners and good for the experienced golfer to improve their short game. Back 9 is better than the front, lots of bunkers and some really tight pin positions will require good accuracy with your shots into the green. Some of the greens can be a bit squidgey after a down pour, but all in all a good little parkland course. Some of the bunkers could do with a good raking, and some of the greens have quite a lot of pitch marks. You may need to repair them before you putt, I guess this is to be expected at course predominently aimed for beginners who may not know how to repair them or just dont know they have to. Not really an issue for me though, happy to do my bit and help keep the greens up to scratch. Seen some reviews about the owner being a bit of a tool, but i've never had any problems. Well worth checking out. Generally shoot anywhere between low and mid 80's. Shot 79 a couple of times, but not round here.
