Friendly staff and lovely breaky. The course is playing well in the most horrific weather recently fairways kept well Greens are as always the best kept part of the course. T Boxes are the only thing that lets the course down. Temporary Mats on four holes hoping to give T Boxes some relief. Overall most enjoyable round of golf

a new course for us

This was my first time playing Forrester Park. It started easy with straightforward level holes but as the round progressed there were a few holes where we couldn't see where the green was. At the 8th the green is behind a row of trees and on the 10th the fairway is on open ground shared with the 18th hole. Although they are separate fairways the slope of the ground and the "not very obvious" 10th green makes for uncertainty with new players.

Nice little practice course

Good course to practice on. Good fairways given the condition. Some nice layouts of holes. Very forgiving roughs. As some holes are so closely packed, a mis-hit can be on a fairway.
Down sides: short course, in particular a number of par 4s and 5s. Tee boxes were in poor condition, lots of seed/sand is down. Supposing considering very little play over the last year. Greens are rock hard,

First time playing this course. Nice clubhouse and some interesting holes, but they had fertilised the greens and I played poorly. A good challenge.

Decent round spoilt only by the greens not being consistent which made it very difficult to read pace.
Also odd society playing holes in a different order (13th to 5th!) made it slow in a lot of places.

A good set up for a nice society day with mixed abililities. Greens were a little unfair as nothing stuck and surrounds not in the best nick but ideal for what we wanted.

Although I enjoyed the course and the round, I did find the layout a bit higgledy piggledy. There is a lot or walking between Green and Tees and I think it could be laid out better. There are also a couple of holes where you walk round the corner straight into the line of play, such as the short Par 3 11th. The walk back to the 18th Tee is long and goes alongside the 2nd so beware here as well.

You can tell which holes made the original loop of 9, and which are more recent additions. Whilst at times it's a little open, some of the holes are stunning and are more engaging. It's entertaining but not the most challenging

A wet day so always tough to decide. Tees and Greens were good - but not excellent. Facilities were good for food and drink; changing rooms were tired and NO PRO SHOP??!!
