Waterlogged. Cannot cope
Course was in a sorry state. There were a few days of rain prior but the drainage wasn't ideal. Very boggy for most of the round. Played here before, but it is a very short course.Reviewer Rating

Great condition for Autumn
Played in late October. Course in great condition. Front nine is ordinary, but layout improves on the back nine. Course is fairly open so wayward shots can be played from the adjacent fairway (unless OB). Clubhouse facilities are basic. Would play again.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course in great condition
Brilliant course, offers a challenge to all standards of golfer. Plenty of trouble to be found if you stray from the fairways. The greens were in beautiful condition and played perfectly. Would definitely recommend visiting Forrester Park.Reviewer Rating

Another Day at Forresters
This is my home course and it is going through a difficult time. Rumours about it being sold the tees and greens are not in great condition.Reviewer Rating

Nice little practice course
Good course to practice on. Good fairways given the condition. Some nice layouts of holes. Very forgiving roughs. As some holes are so closely packed, a mis-hit can be on a fairway.Down sides: short course, in particular a number of par 4s and 5s. Tee boxes were in poor condition, lots of seed/sand is down. Supposing considering very little play over the last year. Greens are rock hard,

Interesting
(Covid restricted round) Decent track. Greens a bit woolly. Several holes where you have to play over trees to get to the green. Even from good positions on the fairway. There's enough room if you can get up and over, but they're a bugger bugger if you can't. Some judicious pruning wouldn't go amiss. Some really attractive holes. Bunkers currently GUR. Clubhouse looks lovely but it's shut. £15 quid after 2pm was a bargain. Unfortunately will get marked down as no clubhouse experience available. I would definitely want to play here again.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 86 Handicap: 11.6)

A tale of two halves.
I hadn't played here for some years and it was a pleasure to meet up with an old friend and play this course again. Developed from a 9 holes old course into a new 18 holes created an interesting mix of the old and the new together. The tees could have had been cut but otherwise a really enjoyable round. Highly recommend a visit.Reviewer Rating
