Lovely course spoilt by condition of greens
A lovely course spoilt by the unkept condition of the greens. Great value for money venue, nice challenging short course with plenty of hazards. The fairways and tees were ok but the greens were pretty poor and not cared for. Staff blamed the recent weather but looked like more. Wouldn't stop a return visit but you need to understand your putts don't run true. The accommodation was adequate, the bar prices a little steep but the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the catering were excellent.Reviewer Rating

Good Society Venue
Whilst the practice facilities are poor the actual course was very enjoyable to play. Although quite a short course it has a lot of blind holes (both up and downhill) and plenty of ditches and other hazards to negotiate.Reviewer Rating

Nice characterful course
Nice course, challenging holes. Buggies not required but we had them as this was day 2 of 3 in the area. Greens in great condition, fairways ok. Nice views on a fair few holes, 10 and 17 stood out.Reviewer Rating

Worth a visit
Picturesque course where the greens were very tough due to previous weather conditions and lack of rolling and cutting.Bunkers well kept and fairways open and well maintained.
Super staff- so helpful.

Relaxing Round
Played her for the first time with my son we both throughly enjoyed the course the layout and fellow golfers the only downside was players failed to wait for us to finish playing on hole 14 as we had not run the bell to say that the hole was clear was a bit annoying as we are not slow playersReviewer Rating

Nice parkland course
A nice parkland course, well laid out & in fantastic condition.Fairly open, so you can have a go at it, bit there are a good mix of trees & water if you're really wayward.
Look out for the 10th hole a split fairway running down to a brook makes you think off the tee & the superb 12th. Tee down to the Brook, then you have the choice if laying up, or going for the island green.
The 8th is a cracking par 5 as well.
The hotel is comfortable, the food good & the staff friendly. All in all a good golfing experience.
