Fantastic venue
A fantastic venue for a visit. We had an overnighter with 2 rounds. The course is short but never the less challenging. In great condition and very enjoyable to play. The hotel, dining area, staff, food, shop and hospitality were all excellent and very good value for money paid. All of my 12 person party loved it and would wish to return anytime. Brilliant course
Hard to get to, but overall course and greens are perfect very difficult and challenging will definitely be playing there again, green keepers have done a fantastic job.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 91 Handicap: 16.1)

A great place for a knock
Little hidden gem nestled in the Forest of dean. Lovely little par 69 with enough challenge not to be boring but not too hard that it's not enjoyable. Great course for a knock with friends or a society and the course is always in great conditionReviewer Rating

Golf weekend
Chose this as it was only an hour and a half drive away. Glad we did the course was in great condition and the weather could not have been better. Hotel a bit dated but the staff were excellent. Recommended.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 98 Handicap: 21.6)

We haven't played this course for a year and it was in fantastic shape, all aspects were great, greens, fairways, rough and bunkers even with no rakes. A lot of work has been done to alleviate the course being very wet in the winter - will have to see how that works later in the year.

Lovely course

Course not long but fairways need to be found from the tee, rough is fair but can snag club on way through, greens roll well but need to be read as three puts are easily achieved if you don't pay attention..Reviewer Rating

Course in great condition, greens were true and quick, fairways a little long so not much roll but fine for this time of year, a few mats to tee off but again im sure there just looking after the tee boxes, clubhouse staff friendly and welcoming, overall well worth a visit.

The weekend weather was very bad flooding, but was welcomed at this course. Greens were very water logged. Would definatly go back in dryer weather. Club house staff were very friendly and accomodating.

Forest of dean
This is a course that provides challenges for all women and men with well place bunkers and many other hazards with some very tight driving holes though tree line on both side, well worth playing and will be returning again we had a 2 night stay and the meals was excellentReviewer Rating

Stayed for a golf weekend, course is not long but is well laid out with some tricky holes, very busy place pre booking buggies is a must if you need them accommodation is basic but clean and does the job.food very good and all the staff very helpful.
