Great course
Was a great course to play on, well kept but greens could do with a bit more looking after. Overall good(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 76 Handicap: 28)

Devon as you?d expect.
Our society had a three day event here this weekend. The course is very hilly as you?d expect in Devon. There are buggies available though for those that want them. The greens and fairways need to be in better shape but is was explained after the recent rains and flooding the ground staff are working on it. A little difficult to follow the course, next tee not well signed. The accommodation was superb! We had Chalets with hot tubs. The food and service from the staff was beyond reproach and very friendly.Reviewer Rating

A BIT DISSAPOINTING
COURSE LOOKED GREAT FROM A DISTANCE. LOTS OF MOWN GRASSCLIPPINGS EVERYWHERE INCLUDING GREENS. FIRST CUT OF ROUGH VERY LONG SO SPENT TOO LONG SEARCHING FOR BALLS. VERY STEEP
SO GET A BUGGY. CHEAP ROUND, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !

Fair course - hopeless organising
Visited this course with a large society, the first visit that this society had done to this venue. Over the years, I have organised over 300 society days and this one proved to the most disorganised of the lot, from stopping breakfasts @ 10.30, despite advising them that many members would require it, to changing the "you can have a choice of menu on the day" to a choice of one, - OK thankfully, that meal was quite good.Thankfully, the weather was good, the undulating quirky course was very playable and overall is enjoyable to play, but, if you want anything other than a game of golf, forget, go down the local pub / restaurant where you will be more welcomed. A nice course, but with the appeal of a holiday camp. I even sent a letter to "the owners" - nothing critical, but with honest views, but three months later, I still have not received the courtesy of a reply.
