What The Club Says
Fingle Glen now offers a 5600 yard course with a par of 69 for men and 71 for ladies. The course offers a good test of golf for players of all standards. Along with some shorter par 4's that offer birdie opportubities there are some very challenging par 3's & 4's that are a test to make par for any player. The par 5's, one on each nine, give balance to the course.

Do not play this course under any circumstances! The club house was completely closed, reportedly due to staff shortages but as soon as you start playing the course it is clear they are a company going through severe financial strife. This was confirmed by an ex club member walking the course with their dog who said the club is for sale and the owners have ruined it. The course is not maintained and is a mess. It is a complete sham that they are still taking money from customers with online bookings and they should stop that immediately. What a disgrace.Reviewer Rating

Don't play this course
Fingle Glen is the worst maintained course my wife and I have ever played on. The greens are in a terrible condition. They had been hollow tined recently but that wasn't the problem. They are diseased which has left bare patches. The bunkers have not been maintained. The sand is compacted. The fairways were covered in clumps of wet mown grass. The layout of the course is very odd and lacking in signage. The buggy we hired had not been cleaned since the previous players.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Was a great course to play on, well kept but greens could do with a bit more looking after. Overall good(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 76 Handicap: 28)
