Having played this course a few times previously, and wanting to do something different for my Dad for Fathers Day (as i now live in Perth), i emailed the team about vouchers. After a quick phone call and EXCELLENT service by Seb and his team everything was painlessly arranged!
Last time i played the course it was one of the worst days on record (only played as my Best Man Bruggers insisted) whereby the guys in the Pro Shop loaned me some waterproof trousers and the course really held up well. Plus the bar looks fantastic!
i will always come back and play this course when in the UK.

The course itself is in good nick, greens will take a well hit ball, they run true and are a good pace. What I don't like is the lack of definition, due to the absence of trees- the place used to be a farm, so it's very open. The fairways are therefore defined by some extremely long grass just off the first cut of rough. The higher handicappers I was playing with found the long grass very tough, as once you're in it you're either hacking out sideways or re-loading. Not a bad course by any stretch just not my fave.

I arranged 27 holes on 1st August for 28 golfers with handicaps ranging from 4 to 24. Arrived about 08:30 for bacon rolls , tea / coffee. Played the blue 9 holes starting at 09:30 and had arranged a rolling lunch for about 11:30. First tee for the 18 holes at 13:00 giving everyone time for lunch and a drink. I spoke with the G.M prior to teeing off in the morning and he arranged a set menu for hot food to be served on completion of our days golf, which i had not asked for prior to arrival. Many of the society had never been to Farleigh, but told me that they had a fantastic day, comments were made on the professional attitude of the staff, especially the starter being helpful and friendly (John), the food and the facilities. The course was in a very good condition, the greens were commented upon as being probably the best some people had played on for a very long time. The fairways were a little dry, obviously due to the recent extended heat spell. The attitude of all members of staff towards us was great, friendly and professional, nothing was a problem. Cold drinks were brought round the course during play which was great. We had a private suite for our lunch, great shower facilities on completion. No one from my society had any problems whatsoever, great atmosphere within the clubhouse, great 27 holes and a fantastic day.

Thank you and all of your staff for a very good Golf day for myself and my society members who attended on Friday 2nd. August last. We were welcomed and we all had a very good days golf on an excellent course. We look forward to booking a further society day at Farleigh next year.

Had an enjoyable day with my society in May. A good meal after golf and generally well looked after. A few greens needed attention (blackened in significant areas) on blue course but others OK.

Recently played Farleigh after all course maintenance was completed and was thoroughly impressed. I thought the greens were as good as they could have been after hollow-tining.

Love this setup. A must play for any level of golfer, a mix of holes and in excellent condition for just £15 a round, bargain.

Massive improvements have been made to this course and I cannot really fault it. Good design, great bunker placement and superb greens. They work they've put into this place over the last year or two has really paid off.

Another nice course well worth a play if you are looking for somewhere, lots of groundsmen working round the course which is very nice to see that they care about it.

Amazing place, Greens are exellent, Fairways crisp there was not a lot more that could have been asked for. Refurb club house starts mid october and the plans look great. Going back to play next week with intentions of joining with 3 friends also. 5 star must see..
