First time visitor. Friendly helpful staff. Course quite wet after a day or so of rain. Some decent holes. Quite a few criss-cross and semi blind holes (but no major issues). Greens and tees in decent condition. Facilities looked good. Would play again.

A great course for a Society Day as it is 2 loops of 9 some very interesting holes especially the par 3\'s. The staff made us very welcome, course in great condition greens a little slower than previous our visits but still true. Food is simple, plentiful just what the golfer wants. Would recommend.

A very well maintained course offering a pleasant variety of holes to play and all very well screened by tall trees from the main roads and motorway network adjacent.

Without doubt one of the best courses in the area. Always maintained brilliantly with some of the best greens around. It's a bit of a deceptive course as it gives you a chance on a fair few of the holes but others can be a real test, especially if there is a bit of wind whipping up. The 9th is one of the prettiest and toughest holes i've ever played. Highly recommended.

First time we've played Ellesmere and we were very impressed. A challenging course, not helped by strong winds, and greens in excellent condition

Played in the seniors open on the 5 th may.The course was in good condition after the heavy rain the night before.Every hole presents a challenge,makes you plot your way round.The greens are very true.The kitchen staff were very helpful.Coming back in August with society,really looking forward to it.

The course was nicely set up as you would expect at this time of year. Very welcoming club. Course is quite tricky with a gully running through approximately 10 holes and so knowledge of the course is invaluable. Overall a good course but difficult for high handicappers like myself

Played this course as part of a society day. Very well received by the staff. Good organisation from start to finish. The course was in superb condition, greens very true. Fairways lush. Some very interesting holes, especially the par 3 9th which is a potential card wrecker. A great finish to the round with another par 3 played to the clubhouse. Good practice facilities. Food excellent. Will definatly return.
