Effingham is a ?proper? golf club. Wood panelled walls and old world charm and tradition. Beautiful golf course. Great greens. They have a superb halfway hut as well. The staff were very friendly. I played with a member which made the fee much more reasonable than the standard visitor rate.

Excellent
Played here as a guest and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well kept, in great condition. Nice and undulating with a lot of challenges. Excellent practice facilities and clubhouse. Worth a visit if you get the chance.Reviewer Rating

Great disappointment
I was really looking to play this great course again after many years, but what a disappointment!!! The greens were shocking... very bouncy and uneven making putting a real hit and hope. Very slow as wellFor a tip 100 course this is very poor value for money

Great Condition
considering the recent weather the course was in great shape, very challenging at times but forgiving in others, the greens were very well kept and the setting is devine(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 14.8)

Nice track
The weather has been awful up to the day but the course was in incredible condition. Really good club house and a thoroughly enjoyable day(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 19.5)

Stunning
