One of the worst courses i've played in years. Boring Boring Boring! Very disappointing considering the reputation. The course is very short and very narrow with fairways running parallel to each other therefore space is at a premium. This makes for a very monotonous round. It's a bit run down and although the Par 3's were testing, it certainly didn't justify the ridiculously overpriced £50 mid-week green fee! You can play much superior courses in Middlesex for half the price! Customer service in the pro shop was also poor, felt like i was intruding on their grounds, very unwelcoming. As a result i will never be back

Course in good condition but too much waiting around for people to tee off when you are on a very nearby green or waiting for people to finish putting when you are about to tee off. \My final gripe is that the pro shop had no course planner nor did the swipe card for the changing room work. Will not be going back.

Heard so much about this course and thought I had to experience it. What a waste of money! Yes, the greens were quick but they had patches where no grass was growing and the rest of the course was simply dull, boring and dare I say....untidy.
Good reputation built on cutting every blade of grass way too short. Not my cup of tea and I won't be going back!

Liked the greens, fast and smooth but the course layout is like playing in 3 separate fields, not so good. When we played it was very slow and members in front not keen to let us play through even though we were playing a foursomes match and they had lost a hole. Maybe it was because we were women? Have also played Sudbury golf course which is near by and found that much better. Also great greens, great layout and very friendly.

There are much better clubs in the area. Poor welcome...wouldn't make one bacon roll. Greens are advertised as the best but even the members say they are unplayable for amateur members

Not overly welcoming to vistors. and not cheap.
Get's very busy, so even members struggle to get a tee time on occasion.
Too much noise from A40 (but then again your very close to central london)
Greens are fantastic.
Fairways are good too.. when weather is dry.
Course floods far too often, and drainage is shocking! don't bother wasting your money when it has been raining.
Club House/Food - horrible. better off picking up a dodgy kebab!
Overall, worht a shot if weather is good and you want something local.
Would not waste my money joining, esp when the course floods after heavy rain and they have close some of the better holes!

We were local visitors and waited 20 mins for a sandwich when not busy and the order was lost in the kitchen half way hut had no insulated cups for us to take tea and go. As for the course very wet, fairways quite muddy and greens ok - would not rush back at this time of the year. The club is not very welcoming for visitors and service should be a lot better. Is it worth £22 a round, just. Prefer Sudbury and Wyke green by some distance

Enjoyed my 2nd round there but forgotten about the crisis crossing & driving over other greens. Greens did play well though & fairways were pretty good. Away from there there already sings it could get muddy & it's been dry for a couple of weeks now?Might wait till Spring to return I feel

Very tight

A good challenge for an average golfer - big hitters beware. Doesn't play long but with it being so tight there are several holes that you are crossing/ playing over so it can slow play down
