Possibly the worst course I’ve ever played

The course was more comparable to a cow field than a golf course. I’ve played some shockers but this bog was up there with the worst of them.

Private golf club. Considering recent wdt weatjer was in reasonable condition. Hollow tyne holes had not filled in cpmpletely leaving greens rather bumpy but still reasonably true.

Pleasant parkland with ponds

A members club that only recently has opened to visitors that had variable reviews, however the much complained about drainage work that certainly affected around half the holes was not as bad as suggested by some. The course is pleasantly laid out especially around the water holes with one challenging drive with quite a carry. Played with a couple of members who were not complimentary about the visitors up ahead but who were nonetheless very good company. Course was generally quite muddy so the work is understandable but otherwise the course was in good condition for the time of the year and most of the greens were true and of decent pace.

Great Course

We’ve had a lot of rain recently but now it has brightened up the green staff were able to get the mowers back out, and the course is in more spring like condition. Greens are very good. Will come back in the summer to test out the course at its peak.

I received a voucher to play at Dyrham Park with 3 friends as a birthday present.
What a wonderful present it proved to be!
We all thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon from the moment we arrived until we left.
A wonderful clubhouse set in beautiful surroundings (with masses of parking).
The course was full of interest and challenge , which could be won over with care, thought, and occasional braveness!.
Only two disappointments:
Firstly that the fairways were being treated with "cuts"-presumably to allow air to the roots? But the present result was very unpredictable run of the ball-and (too) often it would suddenly stop and descend into a cut.
Secondly the bar and clubhouse were deserted when we finished our round at 6.00pm (gasping for a long drink!).
However, overall a fabulous afternoon

A private country club this course is normally immaculate but at this time of the year they were still recovering from the very wet winter months and the greens were slow and bumpy and they were a lot of drainage work being carried out on the fairways.

Nice course worth a visit

Never realised this course was there - a well hidden but excellent course. Some very interesting holes, greens in good condition for time of year. Made very welcome by members and the staff. Would definitely visit again

Invited for a golf day for Artel Scaffolding. Generally a fantastic day, with great weather and the course was in top condition.

dyrham has very nice facilities. the course is woodland. I would cut back the shrubbery in where the rough is and the low trees
