Visited the club on a "Dumpling Day" promotion. A warm welcome from Heather & Vanessa on arrival followed by a Bacon roll / Coffee / nip of Brandy / 18 holes / Beef stew and Dumplings - excellent value for £29.95pp. The course was in excellent condition after the recent bad weather, greens quick and fairways dry. In the area - make a visit, you won't be disappointed.

great course
Course in very good condition considering recent combination of rain and heat. Fair balance of risk and reward and good pace of play. Very good value for a 4ball.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 90 Handicap: 18.4)

What an excellent course. The fairways were well tended and the greens as quick as lightning. Always a course to book when the weather is bad due the excellent drainage,never any temporary greens or tee off areas. Staff welcoming on arrival as well as bar staff afterwards. A must course to visit

Played on the Dummer Dumpling Day offer. On arrival bacon roll, tea / coffee and a nip of brandy, 18 holes followed by Stew / Dumplings / mash and veg. Would have paid the money just for the food!! Excellent. The course was shroud in dense fog on our arrival
but cleared just before our tee off. Course in excellent condition.

First time I played the course and found it to be very enjoyable. Not too tough for someone like me who is pretty erratic (play off 18 on a good day) but also not too easy so that it got boring. Course in good condition and people we met were very friendly. Would recommend giving it a try. We also did a deal they have on Wednesday which included Lunch for ?20 which was great value
