Improving every week
I was a member at Dummer and since the purchase by Basingstoke GC the course has improved considerably due to the number of greenkeepers working on the course and the very much improved machinery. Currenty greens are in recovery from vericutting last week but roll true and with some pace.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 83 Handicap: 12.6)

Relaxing yet challenging
Course is easy to find as is just off of Junction 7 of the M3 toward village of Dummer. Welcoming to guests and course in very good condition.Reviewer Rating

Golf day in wet february
We play a society day here every yesr at this time as it is so well draining and in good condition always at this time of year. When we arrived it had been raining all night and was sleeting quite hard and very wet and miserable. We were offered several options. Play as booked, try it out and if we decided to come in we could re-book, have individual voucher to play when we are wanted, or re-book. We were advised at regular intervals of the current state of the course whilst drinking brandy and eating bacon baggettes. Our tee time was at 10. It stopped raining and we decided to play. There were no temporary greens and no sotting water. No temporary tees and the course whilst wet in places was miraculously in great playing condition. The meal as usual was excellent the staff wonderful and I cannot recommend Dummer highly enough.Reviewer Rating

great course
Course in very good condition considering recent combination of rain and heat. Fair balance of risk and reward and good pace of play. Very good value for a 4ball.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 90 Handicap: 18.4)

This is my club course so play it all the time. the green were very consistent for pace and the rough is cut to punish but not ruin your round.

Once again we had a great day out at Dummer Golf Club. The course drains amazingly well and with no temp. greens it was a pleasure to play. The staff are informative and friendly and afterwards we enjoyed some good food and a well kept pint or two of Brakespear Bitter.
Put it on your "must play" list. Great value for money.

Good course, even in the wet. Considering it's been really wet lately the course was in good condition. Mainly because of the chalk downs. But also due to being well kept. It was a very windy day, so our scores didn't look good. But we had a pretty good game considering! I would definitely recommend Dummer.

An excellent course that has finally recovered from an unfortunate breakdown of the irrigation system. The greens were brown in July but they're back now and in great condition. I've just placed my best score and only 31 putts! Brilliant value for money too. £15 for a 12.30 tee time!

Great Little course greens are good .played here twice in a month just to confirm what a good value course it was also if you play there once you can register your email address with them ant then get reduced green fees and you should do this as you will want to play this again overall 61/2 out 10
