Excellent course. I went early morning again and found myself surrounded by mist which made the round very interesting.......

Ground was wet, but very well drained, and didn't cause any problems. Greens in great condition, and most tee boxes also open.
The course is interesting, with some great natural features and views. There are a couple of criss-cross holes, and often the tee boxes are very close to other greens, but other than that it is a great course, with friendly pro shop.
Would love to come back in summer where I imagine the fairways and greens will be lightning fast.

I have played at Disley Golf Club many times over the last 10 years with a visiting Society and it has always been a favourite because of its varied holes and beautiful views. The condition of the course has significantly improved over recent months and is well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Quirks and views
This is the second time I have played this course at Disley. I found the course layout a little confusing at times, with some fairways crossing and teeing off across greens. That said the course is a delight to play and was in tip top condition when we played. There are some short and rather difficult holes and other interesting holes that called for a little thought or you were in trouble. The views around the course are outstanding, with views over Manchester and surrounding moorland hills.Reviewer Rating
