The greens where in good condition for this time of year, but the bunkers were very wet and compacted sand with no rakes in some of them.

An attractive parkland course which is generally well maintained, although it does not drain well after rain and today there was water in many of the bunkers.

Was well kept for a public course, seems to be aimed at beginners/public, greens easily the slowest i have played this year. Nothing spectacular but not the worst course i have been to.

Hadn't played here for a while so thought to give it a try. The course was in pretty good condition but the bunkers are still poor. The greens were a bit bobbley in places but otherwise not to bad.

This course is improving all the time, with limited resources. If you haven't played it before I would say give it a go. Dont expect the Belfry, but well worth a look.

what a difference from when Jack Barker had it. New team doing a great job,couple of greens a little patchy, not sure if it is silver dollar. otherwise the best it has been for years.
Only let down is original 11th tees not in use. Makes hole less of a challenge.

No marshalling on course had someone in a buggy one set of clubs 2 persons playing. Not the first time this has happened. Course itself is a good layout but it just doesn't look maintained. The bare minimum to make it playable. This course has the potential to be excellent in every way

Nice open course that is quite forgiving. Played off temporary tees for all 18 holes, though all the greens in use. Some interesting holes and overall the round qas quite enjoyable. Breakfast for £4.75 is good value. £5 to hire a trolley is not.
