On The Up
Played again after playing it back in June. Even after the heavy rain of the last week the course was looking great. Fairways a tiny bit long but with the weather I can see why, all were super lush and made hitting irons from the fairway superb but not much run. Its the fairways you must play from to score well. Greens looking great, only a couple of pitch marks, so being looked after by members and visitors which is nice to see. The layout is really nice and isn't difficult from the daily tee's but you do need to be accurate with both tee shots and your iron play. A lot of nice holes with the lakes and houses as a back drop, and the other holes tend to be shortish so a good drive and a short iron in to the large greens. Well worth a look. Its only getting better and better.

Times are changing at Collingtree Park
There are changes coming to Collingtree with hope that ownership will switch to the members. This will hopefully see continued improvement in the course and facilities. The course is a great layout and the 18th always a challenging par 5 to an island green.

Great Lay out
Championship lay out and beautiful surrounding. The course is challenging from any tee and has so much potential.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 93 Handicap: )

Getting better
Played the other day after not playing here for a couple of years. What a huge improvement now it’s been taken over by the members. It’s not perfect by any means, some of the tee boxes are a bit bear and the greens aren’t perfect, I was told they are only 60% of where they want them but a huge improvement. They ran fast and true with lots of breaks and some of the greens are huge so you could be on the green but still 60ft away!! Fairways are not bad but getting better. All the lakes look great. Layout is also fabulous, just watch out for out of bounds with all the houses!! And the 18th island green is great. Staff are super helpful and everyone I met was lovely. Highly likely to join. Overall it’s heading in the right direction which is great. You can almost feel the spirt of Seve and co as you go play the course.

Very tried course
Best description of this course was that it used to be good. It now looks very tired. I know we are coming out of lockdown, but most of the the fairways were flatter than the tees boxes, which were in a dreadful state. Greens were mixed and some of the approaches to greens were very bar. Just a bit disappointing for what was once a Championship course.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 102 Handicap: 19.2)

Nice course
Nice corse in fairly good condition but rough could have been cut shorter as balls were easily lost just off the fairway. Service n food very nice(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 14.2)

Course is looking and playing amazing!
What a great set up, with a great little course. The bar/restaurant sits behind the 18th, which is a great finishing hole, but with the clubhouse across the road, its a little weird!?However, the overall course is excellent with some great challenging holes!

Great course

Great challenging course
Played a midweek Thursday afternoon game found a very good condition challenging course for all abilities my fourball handicap ranged from 16-28 with us all loosing a few balls throughout our round. Lots of lovely water features come into play. Paid ?19 for a midweek game in my opinion good value for money. Only negative was after finishing our round we only had time for 1 quick drink at the bar as it closed by 8pm on the day we visited. Would definitely play again in the future.

Lovely course needing attention
A beautifully presented course with a terrific course marshal to welcome when you arrive. The course is well set up and challenging for all golfers - a few shots need thinking off the tee - don't just hit your driver. The greens are the problem - they have not had a greenkeeper and this shows. Once this problem is rectified this is great course to play. Food and service at the bar was very attentive.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 90 Handicap: 13.3)
