Great course in excellent conditions, greens are not receptive to approach shots and lightning fast. Great challenge for all level of golfers. - Apr 30 2015

Golf Course Reviews for Collingtree Park Golf Club
Really enjoyed it - greens and fairways in top nick.
Some people moan that this course is not in as good a condition as its heyday in the 80'90's - (there are lots of photos of Sam Torrance and Seve from the Masters events there!) .... well so what ......I wasn't playing golf then but i'm playing now......and this is a good course. Some really outstanding holes like the par 5 4th, par 3 5th , par 5 9th, par 4 10th and 11th and of course the finale 18th is probability the toughest 18th I have played. A standout hole.
I just love playing and looking at the amazing houses that line the course....oh how the over half live!
Don;t listen to the old fashioned/backward looking moaners...go play this course .it is not even 5 mins off Jn15 of the M1 in Northampton.
PS With Open fairways memebership i got it for £36 for 2 players!
beautiful views from the 19th hole :-) and reasonably priced food.....can't go wrong

Fairways poor greens not good rough very long semi rough very long this was a very disappointing day at a club that used to be very good
(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 16.1)
As others have said, this course is on borrowed time. Such a shame as it is a great track.
Bunkers are unplayable and the rough has not been cut for weeks. Greens were ok but pretty slow.
Quite disappointed with course condition. Driving range closed, bunkers all GUR, and greens in shockingly bad conditions. At £32.50 for a round I would expect a lot more. Pro shop were accommodating and provided a discounted lunch, but golf ruined really.
Having said that a great layout and very difficult. Narrow fairways with big rough and lost balls not far from fairway edges, 10 holes with water hazards. If you're game is not in good condition don't play here as you will lose a bag or two of balls. Worth try though to test yourself if playing OK.
(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 100 Handicap: 19.4)
Course had only recently re-opened after having been closed to flooding. Grass in semi-rough was too long & made finding your ball tough. The tee areas also had long grass so higher tees needed. Lunch was poor but dinner was a much better standard.
(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 106 Handicap: 23.1)
It's a great course, but they shouldn't be open at this time of the year, it was basically a mud bath.

Even though it rained after the fourth hole we still thoroughly enjoyed the round. The course was in much better condition than the previous time we played. We would like to return in better conditions
(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 111 Handicap: 20.2)
Definitely play this course again
I admit I played poorly, which doesn't help, however, despite a great layout with lots of water & some holes which made you think a bit, the experience was disappointing.
I thought the condition of the course was poor. Awful bunkers, scruffy tee boxes, slow patchy greens & the need of a general tidy up. The course makes a lot of the fact the British Masters was played there, I would say it's a long way from experience.

Played here 2 months ago & all was good but today the greens were really bad very patchy & looked like they needed a good cut. Tees were also bad and scruffy!! I have never seen such bad bunkers hardly any sand & weeds growing. Used to really like this course but has gone downhill badly!!
