First time playing The Oaks

Used the range and short game facilities since I moved here in 2005. First time playing an actual round on The Oaks. Overall a tidy challenging track, that unfortunately had some damage to f/ways and greens and a couple of tee boxes we're off Astro turf. But can't complain. First round since February and turned in 91/63 & 42 points. I?ll definitely be back.

Good pace of play, but some of the greens need better repairs. Fairways are good, but you can tell it is a municipal course.

Long time member and the current owners have spent a lot of time and money in the last few years to bring the course to excellent standards. Well maintained and challenging.

Very wet and muddy

Probably the only course open in the county as the amount of rain has closed many. It was just to get out

For a Play and Play course, well worth a visit. Some lovely holes.The condition of both the tees and greens was excellent and the fairways were cut well. I live fairly near, so I will be back again very soon.

Picturesque golf

Nice sloping fairways and tricky greens. Many par 5?s approachable in two , back 9 appears to get easier to get your scores down depending on type of player you are.! Place the Lakes over a stay at the hotel for one night .
