What the club says: The course plays 6378 yards off white tees, 6082 off yellows and 5788 off reds. A combination of natural contours, mature woodland and artfully placed bunkers provides a test for low and higher handicappers alike.
A members Club set on free draining chalk downland and offers beautiful views of the South Downs National Park.

Excellent course in superb condition
After a long, mainly dry spell, this course was its usual combination of challenge and opportunity. As ever, hitting the fairways was of paramount importance.Recovery opportunities are there though.

First time round here. Nice course. Greens were decent. A little tight in places despite initial impressions and could maybe do with thinning out some trees in places but generally in excellent condition. Back 9 was more interesting than the front. Well looked after by the club on a large society day and food was excellent both pre and post round.

Ex Downland Course
Formerly on open downland with views over the local countryside the course is primarily now tree lined corridors where serious width off the tee is prioritised over merely being slightly off line and so stymied by the trees which have been and continue to be planted.Reviewer Rating

Expensive package, food, service etc excellent. Course was mainly in good condition although we spent too long looking for balls, as the rough in a lot of places was next to the fairway with an absence of semi rough.. Greens were a little patchy.Reviewer Rating

Disgraceful
Played this course with a friend as we were looking to move our membership potentially. Was charged £50 per player only to find out as we were playing the course that the entire 18 holes was on temporary greens and tees. At no point did the pro shop reference this or give any kind of discount prior to playing. Really, really poor experience. The course is one of the dullest in the area - AVOID!Reviewer Rating

The course is a good forgiving society venue . The greens and most fairways were in good condition. Unfortunately the blot on my day was being confronted by the rudest , most obnoxious member of staff that I have ever encountered in the service industry.

Really Good Greens
Not a 'premium' course on paper, but really good Greens, fast and true and comparable to the very best. The rest of the Course overall very good, but looked a little tired in areas. The Course lay out is interesting, a few parallel holes particularly on the front nine, but some interesting holes along the way. IBM Corhampton
The whole day was very enjoyable from the arrival of Coffee and Bacon Sandwhich to the course which was in superb condition considering the time of year not matched by our golf. We then had an excellent 2 course xmas meal where the food was very good and the staff very attentive.Reviewer Rating

Hidden Hampshire Gem
Brilliant course in rural Hampshire with a variation on holes and fast greens. Lots of trees punish wayward drives without leaving the ball in deep rough. Good club house friendly staff and good prices.Downside was it confused lots of car satnavs so many members of the golf society had a scenic tour of Hampshire to find it!!
