Strange little course, some great holes and perfect for a mid week round, but I wouldn't want to play when it's busy - it's tight in places and there's too much crossover with other holes and the range. Good condition though, reasonable value and drains well compared to others in the area.

The 5,285-yard course (par 66) has an excellent reputation both for its condition and design, while there is something to interest golfers at all levels, with each hole offering its own unique challenge.

Played beautifully after a morning of rain. Nice holes with some tricky fairways to negotiate.

Nice course, some interesting holes, quite a lot of fairways crossing each other on back 9 and compact, friendly club.

Really enjoyed our game at Coombe Wood. It is a challenging course and a lot of fun. We played on the Amazon deal which was amazing value. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. We are going back again next month as it's only 25 minutes away from us.

Played here a week ago and thought it was a terrific course. Some extremely challenging Par 3s. The third hole is one of the toughest I've played anywhere. Out of bounds left and right and a good hit into the wind from the back tees. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. One of our group had played the course a few years ago and said it had improved a lot since then. Great day all round. Highly recommended.

Interesting course, but not in great condition. Greens ok, rest of course was a bit shabby. Two or three cross overholes were dangerous and better markings would alert first timers of the dangers, balls flew closely past us on more than one occaision, but to be fair it is a tight course. Food in bar was limited and very basic.

A small course with a couple of holes where you play across the fairway of another hole so a little disconcerting. Some tees are close to the previous hole/green which make it difficult to to select your shot when you see players so close to the green. The course in my opinion is a tad dangerous.
