Interesting course views spectacular, don't let the shortness of the course fool you it protects itself well with quick greens and prevailing winds. A very fair test of golf and if you course is closed, flooded make your way here. Great value welcoming staff and members delighted you have visited. Small quaint a little quirky but great fun. Open three holes are par threes so you have to be on your game. Good condition when we played everywhere was drowned. A great day out we will return. Thanks from the branston 777's.

me and my friends , playing the course was a good experience, playing in the snow, we love playing the course, but playing at the top of the course we had trouble with birds , x5 balls went missing.

Played the course today with two mates, having not played here for sometime. The course is in fantastic condition and whilst physically demanding is well worth the effort. The views are spectacular and at £10 a round it is excellent value for money.

Played this while in Shropshire on a family holiday at October half term. Fantastic course (you need to be fit!) but absolutely stunning views over the Long Mynd and surrounding countryside. Course and greens in good condition and the pro was very friendly and helpful.

Great fun and great value for money. I'll be back

My type of course; lots of interesting holes touring around the Shropshire hillside. Pro and staff were very friendly. A great day out in the sun.

Course was in good condition, greens were extremely firm making it difficult to land on. Views were superb. Can take it out of people not expacing the climbs though!!

Played this course in Summer of 2011. Fantastic and natural. Not manicured but using the natural contours of the hillside. Definitely need a buggy if you are not as fit as a mountain goat. I must play it again this year.

Play. This. Course. Then play it again the next day. No two days up there are the same. Low scores are possible (if unlikely) if you manage to get a round in in fair weather, but this is presents the very best golfers with a challenge unlike any other with quickly changing levels as you make your way to the top of the hill and back down. If there is a more challenging first three holes in golf then I am yet to find them. You'd think that opening with 3 par 3s would make them easy...

The greens are kept in excellent condition, and the fairways are friendly to play from. Keep hitting straight and enjoy the views!

A short but testing course both in terms of golf and climbing - there are some very hilly fairways and some greens that are much higher than tee positions. But what goes up must come down and so there are some compensations on the back nine. Best enjoyed - both the course and the views - when the weather is fine.
