Played the course on 2 consecutive days and can highly recommend the course. The greens were like billiard tables not a blemish on them with a stipe speed of 12 (best green we have played in a very long time). The layout of the course was challenging but fair and you definitely don't need driver on all holes. The staff in the bar could not do enough. But special praise for the fantastic 2 pros who catered to all 16 golfers demands. We are looking at visiting again in the near future.

Super fast greens and very, very true. Good parkland layout on the front nine. Rolling the back nine with some bland shots that let the course down. Would play again.

Shrewsbury is an excellent course, nice combination of long/short par 4's and 3's. Condition considering the wet weather was very good, I know the greens are electric in the summer. Warm welcome, excellent club house, good ale, would highly recommend you visit.

This course is kept in incredible condition, particularly in the summer. Due to relatively low footfall the fairways are immaculate and the green are incredibly smooth. It is a tough course with very dense trees that line the fairways, but not overly long so it is just a case of keeping the ball in play. The back 9 is certainly more interesting with some great views, but if you like to play well manicured courses then this is definitely worth a try. From a greenkeeping perspective it holds its own with any top end course and there are good facilities - range, short game area, sky sports in the bar etc

course was in good condition. Greens were fast and true, I holed everything! Personal opinion I hated the back 9. Far too many blind shots for me. Much preferred the front 9. Great meal afterwards and reasonable prices.

A pleasant parkland style course without being exceptional. Not too many stand out holes. For me, there are better options in the area ranging from the classy Shifnal to the 'different' Church Stretton.
